Are there any fees to download and install the fully functional Windows On Real Estate trial version?

No. There are absolutely no fees to download or evaluate the fully functional trial version of the software. The trial version is valid for a period of 30 days. After the 30 day evaluation period, the client may purchase an Authorization key to reactivate the software. (using the same database created with the trial version)

  • Username: fsi
  • Password: fsi

If we wish to purchase the Windows on Real Estate software, do we lose the data entered in the trial version?

No.  All data entered in the trial version of the software will not be lost.

We purchased a copy of the Windows on Real Estate software & received the Authorization string but do not know where to enter it?

You must enter the Authorization string in the "Usage License Activation" window.  This window automatically appears once the 30 day trial has expired during your login process.

I received my authorization key by fax, but when I entered it, the program does not accept it. What can be causing this?

Most commonly when the Authorization key is refused, it is simply entered incorrectly. Please verify that all characters match with the legend on the bottom of the fax sheet. If the problem persists, you may send us an email at support@windowsonrealestate.com or call us directly at 1-819-777-7WEB(7932).

How do I transfer the Windows on Real Estate database from one computer to another?

First of all, you must install Windows on Real Estate software on the new computer.  Secondly, you must copy the file fsidb.mdb in the "Windows on Real Estate" directory (which should be found by default under C:/Program Files/Windows on Real Estate/fsidb.mdb) from the old computer and paste it in the "Windows on Real Estate" directory on the new computer.

Can we use the software remotely?

If a client needs to access the database remotely, they would need to use a Remote-Access software such as Terminal Services on Windows 2k.
